Dear Truffle Pig Folks,
Hello from Kingston, I'm one of your biggest fans. My order arrived and I just ate the one that was attached to the card. I am good now for the day now! I've been to Italy and France, where I've gone to independent chocolate stores, I've had Belgian, German, Dutch and Swiss chocolates of all sorts. They were all fine, but hands down, yours is the best ANYWHERE. Whatever you are doing, please just keep doing it exactly as is.Cheers from Bernie

We’ve been fans of Truffle Pig chocolates for a while. I love the change to the fair trade chocolate after stumbling upon their retail outlet for the first time. Such a friendly welcome. I’ve become an even bigger fan now and have introduced my coworkers to their delicious sweets. They keep asking if I’m going by there any time soon. =)
Truffle Pig produce high quality All Natural European chocolate truffles right in Burnaby, BC. Their chocolate truffles have a soft ganche centre with a hard chocolate coating around them. Chocolate truffles are usually round in shape to resemble a truffle mushroom, but they take it a step further and have it shaped like a piggy. If you had a bunch of these in a bowl,I would probably devour them all.
Most people don’t know that chocolate has a princess. Her name is Shelley Wallace and she is the owner of Hagensborg Chocolate Limited. Based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, Hagensborg is a chocolate company that prides itself on making “Clean, Slave Free and Wild Chocolate”. Almost all chocolate is sourced from countries in Africa using slave labor as documented by journalists and the UN . Despite running a small business, she is leading the charge to change the unethical landscape of chocolate.
The chocolate is amazing, and the customer service is even better. The location is convenient for me so I’m there regularly, and Shelley is always there to welcome me and recommend chocolates whether I need it for an occasion, as a gift, or for myself! It’s ethical, and it’s now my go to place for sweets.

Yum yum, I found these little bites from Whole Foods, near the check-out line. I tried the standard Milk Chocolate and it was quite delicious - nice and creamy, not overly sweet. These originate from Vancouver, BC and are in cute pig-shapes. They also have bars and such, too, but I really like the bite sized ones!

These chocolate truffle bars are delicious, smooth. I don't know what could be done to make them any better. I like the range of flavors. These are great little goodies or gifts for others. For me...the best rare treat. Yum!

I came to the shop in Burnaby after hearing so much about the chocolate. I was greeted by the owner Shelley, she gave me a few suggestion and told me about the way she sourced her cocoa. Purchased 4 different kinds of chocolate there and so far I love the truffle peanut butter the best, I mean I love them all but I had to decide on a favourite! My family was also impressed by the flavor and smoothness of the bars. Thank you and I will sure be back for more.
These are amazing chocolates and the service was outstanding. We were missing a few items and they went above and beyond to get the items to us. Brooke and Darin were a great help.

Had a sampling of their dark raspberry and passion fruit bonbons... Oh my heavens, they were fabulous! I think the bonbons are only sold at their retail store, which is in an obscured location, BUT it's worth the drive to satisfy your fine chocolate craving. I'll definitely go back for more!
